Fiesta Mexican Grill & Cantina opened its doors in the Spring of 2009. The new restaurant located right in the heart of downtown Oneonta at the Clinton Plaza has been warmly received by locals and area visitors alike. In a few short months our menu has grown to over 60 authentic and traditional Mexican dishes as well as salads, soups, Steaks, and Seafood. These dishes have been requested by patrons, tested by staff, and offer a full range of heat from very mild to extra spicy. Vegetarian and vegan selections are available as well.

Our entire menu as well as daily specials are prepared fresh by head chef  and his talented team. It is their attention to detail and exacting standards that go into every dish. It is their pride in offering the best of true Mexican cuisine that makes this restaurant so special.

While Mexican food is a favorite with many “gringo’s” there is a wide discussion about what constitutes good Mexican food. Tex-Mex, a term familiar to many “americanos” is different from its California cousin “Cal-Mex” and while tastey and imaginative, these American interpretations are not representative of true Mexican food. At Fiesta Mexican Grill & Cantina fresh ingredients prepared in the traditional style give diners a taste of Mexico that can only be obtained by respecting and continuing these old world traditions.
